SUN PROTECTION is the easiest and most effective way to diminish the risk of skin cancer. Stay out of the sun when the sun is strongest (10 am to 4 pm). Apply enough broad-spectrum sunscreen (with UVA/UVB protection and 15+ SPF) year-round to all exposed skin. Wear protective clothes, like hats and sunglasses, when going outside.
